Party breakdown
Please be sure to read through all of the information for a stress free party
ALL participants must be at LEAST 8 yrs old to participate (gel blaster). If we happen to have a FEW guests are younger, they will require a parent or an older family member to help them. Especially with the guns. Younger guests just do not yet have the strength to use them on their own.
Please make note that with any of our shooting activities, (Gelblasters) please advise all participants to wear long sleeves, pants and a jacket with a hood. SAFETY face gear will be required to wear during these activities, which we will be providing( we only provide the masks) . All activities are subjective. What is painful to one person, might be nothing to another. Please be mindful. We will NEVER force a person to do an activity they are not comfortable with.
Breakdown of party
We will start activities promptly on time
please have your guests starting to arrive the same time as your setup time not your booked party time
Once everyone is checked in with their liability waiver with a wrist band, the instructor will begin with introducing himself to the group and give the safety protocols and all rules. Please have your guests already have completed the waiver because it saves time on the back end. Everyone who is staying in the building MUST have a waiver on file, even if they are not participating. This helps out with time because some onlookers tend to change their mind The better everyone listens and pay attention, the more time they will have for activities.
One or 2 games you will have a food/drink break
The Instructor will take the guests back inside for more activities.
After this session it will be time for cake. We will also remind you that this will be cake time so we can have one of the tables cleared before your party come out.
This break will be a little bit longer
The Instructor will then take them out for their last portion of activities. We will then end with group pictures doing three different poses, then will be time for clean up.
Party Prep
You may bring any food or drink.
*Absolutely NO Alcohol*
(even if it “just for the adults”).
We do not have a liquor license and we are after all a family establishment.
Weapons+ alcohol = not a good idea so just don't do it.
Food: Bring anything you like, just remember, the more you bring, the more you may end up taking home.
We have found out that the easiest thing is to get a couple of pizzas and a case of water/juice and the kids/guests are good to go!
Less mess to clean up.
Decorations
are your choice.
From what we have seen in the 8 years of doing parties, kids don't care about the decorations.
But by all means, if you are one that loves to decorate, go for it!
Tip*If you have lots of things to bring, a small wagon does wonders and limits trips out to the car. If you do have lots, please let us know and we can open the roll up door.
Please use setup time wisely. If you have a lot of setup, please come at your allotted setup time. You may not come earlier than your setup time because there may be a party still there.
If there is no party before your event and you are requesting more setup time there will be a $100 additional fee for every additional half hour
The Cake
Don’t forget to bring a cake! This is a great picture and video opportunity so have fun decorating it.
The guest of honor will get to cut the cake with one of our real swords! ( yes we are still doing it!!! (under 18 years old cuts it WITH the instructor) How often do you get to cut your birthday cake with a sword?
Some people like to bring cupcakes. That is fine, just bring a separate small cake for the birthday guest of honor to cut.
*The number one cake we recommend are *rectangular sheet cakes.*
We personally recommend cakes with any red filling, as they are a lot more fun to cut with the sword. It will make the cake appear to "bleed".
Cakes to Avoid
Round Cakes: little tricky to cut without falling apart. *
Cakes with Fondant Icing: They tend to collapse during the cutting process
Ice Cream Cakes: They are very difficult to cut with the sword.
If you really REALLY want an ice cream cake please be sure to also bring a small normal cake for the guest of honor to cut with the sword.
Also mind you if you do bring an ice cream cake we do not have a freezer
*Please do not come before your setup time which is 15 minutes from your booking time*
For Example
If you are booked at 12pm= you and your guests may arrive at 11:45am
If you are booked at 3pm=you and your guests may arrive at 2:45pm
If you are booked at 6pm=you and your guests may arrive at5:45pm
Do not arrive earlier then the given times because there may be a party still in progress, or we are still setting up for your arrival.
If you are requesting more time for setup, bear in mind there will be an additional fee of $100 per half hour needed. This is normally not an option because there may a party still in progress
We advise to use that 15 minutes setup wisely, as we will start the activities right on time
DO NOT TELL YOUR GUESTS YOUR BOOKED PARTY TIME because....
We have found that if people tell their guests the time the activities start, we get many guests arriving 15-20 minutes late, and then they are only getting a crash course of rules and safety information or missing out on activites
WE WILL START THE ACTIVITIES PROMPTLY ON TIME
Location
Please inform your guests that if they are an IPHONE user, tell them to NOT go by the google directions. There is a glitch on Google's end and will take them to our previous location at the mall.
The accurate address is on the invitation
104 W. 11th Street Tracy CA
Participation Count
The reason we say 10 participants, that is the amount of equipment we have per person. We can rotate for LARGE groups but we did not advise them because there are just not enough games in the party package. Again you can purchase more games outside the package for $75 a game for 10 players
We don't count the people that are just there to watch. Of course, if there is equipment available and any guest (age permitting) that would like to join in,
WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE THIS.
Kids VS Adults
is the kids favorite game, no matter the activity.
We have been told it is great family therapy.
Although, if you would like to sit back and take pictures and videos by all means, sit back and enjoy the fun. We also encourage posting your pictures and videos online.
Anyone that posts and tags the business will receive 2 tokens that are good for any of our Friday Gellyball Night. That is a $30 value. Tokens are worth $15 each (that is 6 magazines of Gellyball Ammo! Or you can put it towards the One hour of unlimited games that is $20. you can use as many of our tokens but the token MUST BE PRESENT to redeem
All guests that are staying in the building regardless of age, or even if they not participating, need to have a completed Liability Waiver on file with Knight Life Entertainment/Duelers Guild. We will have the link available for you in your confirmation email and even on your invitation so it can be completed in ample time before your event. It also can be found on our website. We find it very beneficial to have the waivers completed BEFORE your event, so that way we can get right to the fun activities. Waivers are good for 1 year from signing so if they have been here before within a year they DO NOT need to fill it out again.
Presents
We have learned from parties in the past, kids tend to not care about opening presents and have been bored and restless, so we no longer put aside time for presents. Kids are welcome to bring them and we will have a table for them so you can take them home and open them there. By all means if you wish to set aside time for presents, we will absolutely accommodate you. Just remember, it will take away time from the activities that you booked for.
Things we will have available for your use (we will have this prepped for your event)
2 (6 feet long) folding tables for guest seating
2 tables to display food/drinks
24 chairs
2 Trash bins/ unlimited trash bags( let us know if they are full and we will refill it.)
Covid Info
***Please advise your guests that we will be running our parties as we did before covid started.
Knight Life/Duelers Guild does NOT require masks to be worn in our facility, but we will not stop anyone that desires to continue wearing one.
Knight Life/Duelers Guild will back up any parent that wishes to have THEIR OWN child (not anyone else's) to have them continue wearing one while they participate in the activities.
Knight Life/Duelers Guild will NEVER ask for any medical records.
If any of your guests have any concerns please feel free to give them our contact information and we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns they may have. IF there are any guests that are causing a problem for you, we will kindly be asking them to leave the facility as we do not want them to hinder your experience here with us. *Please make note, we have not had any issues with any of our guests. You will also have a ½ hour after your time slot for any clean up or waiting for parents to arrive. Please use this time wisely as there may be party arriving after your clean up time.

Guests that come to the party that do not participate in the activities we don’t count. The reason we say 20, that is the amount of equipment we have per person. If we have 20 kids and then 20 parents that aren't going to play we do not worry about the parents watching. Of course if there is equipment available and any parents that would like to join in. WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE THIS. But if you would like to sit back and take pictures and videos by all means, sit back and enjoy the fun. We also encourage posting online.

We will need a parent signature on our liability waiver for everyone that participates that is under 18 years of age. Everyone over 18 must sign for themselves. We will have this waiver at our studio on the day of the event.
We have also included a completed invitation that you can print out OR email to your guests.
